What have you read/seen/listened to lately that you would recommend to your audience (something that would help them to learn more about your topic)?

“Fearless” definitely means doing what you think is right even when no one else will help you, and standing up for others who can’t defend themselves however, I also believe “fearless” can mean little things – like getting rid of the spider in the corner without calling someone else to come and do it for you.

Being a member of the OLA Best Bets Committee allows me to not only read some amazing children’s and YA books (and by Canadian authors and illustrators to boot!), but also to tell coworkers, friends, family – really anyone who will sit still long enough to listen – about titles that inspire me. My love of literature led to a need to tell others about the amazing books I have read. Why are you interested in the topic you are presenting?Ī consummate bookworm since the age of 8, I never graduated to “adult” books and continue reading YA and children’s titles to this day.
